Canon LP-e5 Battery
I’m a gal who enjoys to develop as much hobbies as you possibly can. As I started taking photos for my Instagram account I needed to start thinking about angles, lighting, and all that jazz, so I started Googling how to take the very best photos to get additional followers and more views. This naturally progressed to information regarding photography using cameras (as opposed to a smartphone) and my interest was piqued. I’m unclear why I never considered photography before, however i was willing to hop on the bandwagon and initiate taking some great photos!
I got a Canon EOS Rebel XS, an older model however i think the ideal choice for any beginner like myself. I wasn’t really sure how to begin, so the very first thing I have done was take a little photos of my living room and the exterior of my home. I then progressed for some pretentious photos of my lawn chair relaxing in the backyard – I only say pretentious because I later edited these people to be black-and-white, perhaps in certain silly pseudo-commentary in regards to the vapidity of existence. Who is familiar with? Yes, I’m a real artist (that’s supposed to be ironic).
To keep my motivation going, I posted on a photography forum for newbies and posted several of my photos. Outstanding posters there encouraged me to keep it up and provided me with some good advice about how to get optimal exposure (before, I had just been utilizing the automated setting around the camera with little thought to the “exposure triangle”). Additionally, they advised me to buy an extra Canon XSi battery. This is often a great idea for multiple reasons. Sometimes we lose things, or worse, your battery might die as you’re out taking photos! A buddy of mine even enjoyed a battery die on him while he was taking photos at a WEDDING! Obviously, you can’t leave the wedding to run to the store and pick-up a brand new one, so from then on he always carries a number of spares.
This actually happened if you ask me once once i was out on the park taking photos of the playground and a number of the trees and birds – my battery died! I had been stupid and forgot to charge it. Honestly, I didn’t even realize you might buy spare batteries (yes, I used to be a genuine novice) until someone on that forum mentioned it in my opinion. Therefore I obtained a Canon LP-E5 battery from STK on Amazon, and I have not had this problem since. I keep a pair of these in a vehicle from the glove compartment to ensure I have an extra whenever I need it.
As well as, I was once more absent-minded while with the park, having forgotten to charge the battery plus it died right in the center of getting ready to go on a pretty great photo of the cardinal bird perched up within a tree. I sighed with frustration but remembered the spares in the car. I replaced the devzpky61 battery quickly with the handy Canon lp-e5 battery and ran to the spot where bird have been. Luckily, I was able to snap an excellent photo of your pretty red bird before it flew onto the next tree. Thank God for spare batteries! My craft is improving on a regular basis, and so i would recommend photography like a hobby to anyone.
